I’m a freelance journalist and photographer, having graduated relatively recently with a degree in Journalism and English Language. I’m mostly based in London, with occasional (too occasional unfortunately) spells elsewhere in the big wide world.
Here you will find my life and experiences, as well as a collection of stories and articles that I have written for publication or otherwise.

Animals are a major part of my life. Like many others, I have always had pets and as a child was fascinated with the animal world.
I have been vegetarian since the age of 11, and have for a couple of years now been vegan, which I expected would be a struggle, but have found very easy and oh-so-rewarding.
“the idea that ‘humans come first’ is more often used as an excuse for not doing anything about either human or nonhuman animals than as a genuine choice between incompatible alternatives . . .
It takes no more time to be a vegetarian than to eat animal flesh.”
Peter Singer, Animal Liberation (pg. 220-221)
